About ecostore
Malcolm and Melanie Rands began ecostore 17 years ago, in a permaculture eco-village in New Zealand's North Island, beside a natural spring reserve. They wanted to ensure the water source for the eco-village left as pure as when it entered. So they developed a range of plant-based cleaning products that had minimal impact on the environment and the surrounding waterways.
Very soon, they earned a reputation for genuine, eco friendly, high quality products that really worked. And the great thing was people telling them about all the health benefits they received from using ecostore products. People loved that changing their household cleaning products could have such a positive impact on their health as well as their environment.
17 years later, ecostore is a market leader with a world class innovation team, producing over 100 more sustainable household and personal care products from our eco-accredited manufacturing plant that are sold in supermarkets and health stores globally.

Reduce
A ten-minute shower uses about 100L of water, which in an average family household, quickly adds up. Cut down the time you spend in the shower by using a shower timer, or cut down on energy consumption and water usage by fitting a Low Flow shower head.
Reuse
Spend a little more on a purchase that lasts much longer. For instance, try using stainless steel water bottles which are designed to last a lifetime. Plastic water bottles are a huge rubbish problem worldwide, requiring an immense amount of energy to produce a single one.
Rethink
We need to get smarter about using water, a vital resource. By switching to plant-based cleaning products, like ecostore's, you can re-use the wastewater from your washing machine for your garden.
Respect
