We practice the precautionary approach with regard to the ingredients we use which means that if there is any doubt about the safety of an ingredient for people's health or for the environment, we will look for a safer alternative.

We believe in using the minimum number of raw materials required to achieve the best results. Our chief formulator, Ray Avery follows the Einstein principle that, 'The most simple solution is the most elegant.' Ray says, 'The laundry liquid ecostore launched is an example. This contains just two active ingredients and is as effective as a conventional cleaner, which is laden with five or six chemical ingredients'.
Our Commitment to Research and Development
We are a science based company. We solicit the help of world recognised scientist and humanitarian Ray Avery as our lead formulating chemist (2010's New Zealander of the Year) and other chemists experienced in eco chemistry. We are constantly reviewing our products, as new science comes to hand we evaluate and change to improve our formulations.
